Is it an unpopular opinion to think OpenTelemetry in Go is great? I have like zero issues with it so far with DataDog and the semconv package is super useful. I love the attributes and resource APIs and how they apply uniformly to logs, traces, metrics.

Your hosted MCP server endpoint can also be its own landing page. When you get a GET request, you can check if the client has set Accept to text/html or application/xhtml+xml - all popular browsers do this - and serve a landing page instead of opening a text/event-stream.

Hey @OrbStack, what's your take on Apple Containerization? Any plans to adopt it for running Linux machines?.

I don’t get much utility from reasoning models beyond the occasional task planning with Opus 4 and I think Sonnet 4 is amazing for coding and other emerging models are marginally better at best. It’s not worth losing familiarity with your favourite model for very small gains.

I hope the @raycast team understands how well positioned they are to take advantage of the extra features of MCP such as elicitations, sampling and prompt templates.

Switched from T3 Chat to @raycast AI. The macOS integration is just too seamless. ✧+Space to show/hide the chat window and fire away prompts. It feels like no context switching as with opening a browser. Also excited to try out the various AI extensions and MCP integration.

The most interesting thing about Apple's design is that the moment they release something there's a mad rush to emulate it or copy it by all sorts of designers and js/css hackers. It's a beautiful thing and I've never seen that happen off the back of any Android concept.

This brilliantly puts into words the core of why I dislike scrolljacking and injected input delays.

Pleasure is derived through high control authority, immediacy and the reward of seeing the system state change—the reason why video games exists and why they are successful at all.

Love the new design language Apple just announced. Lots of miserable people on here… I’m almost certain they have a11y affordances baked in (or they will do).

I'm gonna have a rough onboarding time to this kinesis keyboard huh? the wrist and shoulder pain got too much so I gotta double down and practice. Who needs WPM when the agents are writing all the code anyways.

Forget @StackOverflow I barely use @Google nowadays. A decent enough LLM is a far better search engine than googling tech subjects nowadays. I literally didn’t even realise this was happening to me till very recently.

moduleResolution: Node WON'T be implemented by TS's Go port. For those who understand what this means, holy hell this is good news.
