Twitter X has a different social Room Aura. Social Aura.. means you know a kind of different discourses, conversations and talks are running. It by default offers an independence level of which no other offers. Elon has been creative with it. We need to build a tech X community.

As an American citizen and a CS prof, I could not be more opposed to visa nonsense like this. It is unfair. It makes us look weak and petty on the world stage. If we continue like this, the US will alienate talented people, and it will be our loss/failure when they go elsewhere.
Can we talk about how inconvenient it has gotten to get a visa for Chinese students? It’s been 3 weeks since mine was “refused”. Is there any reason me, in my 2nd yr Stanford PhD, must wait for up to 180 days to be considered safe to be let in the US?

Every interaction I have had in a 30 years career in tech has validated one fact. Can't trust anyone with HR credentials with talent management in any industry. In the tech team we ran together, we grew to 60 individuals in 5 years. Industry and employee referral only. No HR.
