This thing is amazing for a $299 Home Depot Christmas animatronic decoration. Not quite 1:1 scale, but super easy to modify and looks great! Next project is putting in some motors and R/C hardware! Or maybe modify a Comma Body and put in a Comma 4, @comma_ai ?

Added benefit of using the Comma 4 with Openpilot in the Rivian is that we can drive hands-free on the highway without having to use the useless driver assistance screen.

It feels even smaller in person (that's what she said). Size comparison between the Comma 3X and the Comma 4. The small screen will take some getting used to.

Hot take, maybe. I think MOST people don't care about LIDAR. There are definitely some people, myself included, that will wait to get the LIDAR equipped R2. But for the most part, "normies" aren't going to care as long as they get the software features. The take rates for FSD
