@REDBOXINDIA It will be very interesting to see who all subscribes to this FPO at 400 p/e valuation. If this FPO goes through smoothly it means people don’t care about valuation but believe in stories. This kind of exuberance can pose very challenging times for investors in the days to come.

Last time I heard about India decoupling was in 2007. We are in a connected world, when world was suffering from Covid, Indian markets fell 40%. Now when world is entering recession, energy crisis still spooking and liquidity crunch to aggravate, shouldn’t we be careful?.

Those Companies that hit the market with so called new aged techs, no proper business model & no cashflows and some of the massive mcap gainer stocks without earnings are going to have the similar fate in India as well. This includes fancied green/finance/platform/Tech companies.
Carvana's stock has fallen 98% from last year's peak & has halved in just 2 trading days! Its market cap has plunged from $60 billion to $1.4 billion—a stunning reminder of how ugly things can get when a hot stock loses its sex appeal. Makes me feel a bit better about my Alibaba!.
