Since I posted this talk, I've received several sincere notes from ppl who gave up on careers in academia out of frustration with sloppiness of research. Don't know how widespread it is, but this is not the kind of selection effect we want, driving out conscientious scholars. >>

I am just wondering if there is any R package that supports in confounder identification using change in estimate criteria and backward deletion. With a number of variables, removing variable one at a time process tends to take forever.. Any help #rstats #epidemiology #rladies
