Haha, no lies found. When I speak to people in other disciplines, the first thing I do is admit I know nothing about what they do, then I just sit and learn.
Every person who works in tech needs least 5 non tech friends to interact with closely on a weekly basis so they can understand how the general public actually thinks.

Yes. Honestly, there’s no escaping it, so in the famous words of my HR - ‘be kind to yourself’. It’s a rat race but it’s the required sacrifice for exponential career growth, there are no shortcuts, it’s hard work that eventually turns to smart work.

True. Although opposite scenario. My hack here is to block out my day/calendar with 30 minute work blocks - what I realise in my world is that I never get to everything on the list on time because I’m being pulled in different directions.
if you want to know if you’re really getting work done, write down every task you’re doing. you’d be surprised at how much you’re not working.
