This is so unrealistic it's ridiculous. Disappointed to see it out of NDP. The basic needs rate for a Single Disabled Person on Income Support in Newfoundland is 600$ aMonth! There is no Shelter Benefit for anybody in their ownResidence. I am Hungry.
For families on income support here in Newfoundland and Labrador, buying healthy food to feed their families would use approx. 93% of their income support cheque a month. 1/3 #nlpoli

Income Support cut ME off on December 31st with notice 2days prior I would lose my Drug Card & Medical Transportation. The Oppression has ME left laying here begging for my basic needs to still subexist in Newfoundland. 😢

Legislative Policy in NL allows a Medically Prescribed Diet by aPhysician to be aQualifying Ledgar Line in Basic Needs for Income Support Eligibility and not a Mandatory Health Requirement beyond. So... my CPP Income is deducted $4$ redirected.
