It was inspiring to learn from global leaders in patient advocacy, including the impactful work being done in the UK by Richard Stephens and @n_D_ranasinghe as well as India’s first patient advocate @R2SurviveCancer . I hope we see similar progress in India in the near future.

Rural India is experiencing a rise in diabetes and hypertension, and this was evident at the camp, where nearly every other participant showed symptoms. Sadly, many couldn't afford even the equivalent of USD 1 for basic diagnostic tests.
