Please enlighten me: Why is it not better to push spam idiots to OP RETURN vs (worse) bloating UTXOs? There will ALWAYS be people who want to spam the chain. Moronic? Absolutely. Now what? Why doesnโt anyone understand that NFTs on Bitcoin failed? @Stacks is used by ??? No

i consider myself a bitcoin maximalist. but not a reactive ignorant one, so i'm not identifying with some of this agro nonsense. focus on bitcoin long-term prospects, defending bitcoin for future generations. and live and let live, we don't have to agree about subjective topics.

The Italian journalist who posed this obviously reasonable question to an EU official about Israel, Gabriele Nunziati, was just fired by the Nova news agency in Rome for the crime of asking it. The most notable aspect of this event is that it's now utterly unsurprising:
Journalist: โYou've said that Russia should repay for reconstruction of Ukraine. Do you believe Israel should repay for reconstruction of Gaza?โ EU chief spokesperson: โI have no comment at this stage.โ

One of the more interesting and revealing moments of the NYC Mayor race was during the Dem primary debate. All candidates were asked which country they would visit first as Mayor, and all said Israel: except Zohran, who said his focus would be on NYC.๐ฒ https://t.co/DlUJ4JIfKd

The people most threatened by AI are those who built their identity around being superior and specialized. What makes someone special isn't the same anymore. Dismissing others for experimenting with AI wonโt come across as discretion. It only reveals that your confidence

you. ๐ cannot. ๐บ do anything. ๐คธโโ๏ธ to stop bad actors. ๐ฎ from using bitcoin. ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ You. Are. Powerless. Even worse! The only bad actor that matters is the one with the guns, and they also control the definition of "bad." You either believe in Bitcoin, or you don't.
Cybersecurity is all about defense. Defending against attackers (threats). There are a few basic types of attackers: - The opportunists who will take advantage of an easy win but will stop when they meet trivial resistance - Sophisticated actors looking for financial gain

As always, citizens are asleep at the wheel, fighting each other instead of the 1%.
AI drones used in Gaza are now surveilling American cities Drone usage by Israel-based, Gaza-field tested Skydio across the US has grown extraordinarily https://t.co/OUhy37L9DI

People need to stop making this about Core. This is about other users. I REFUSE to run these filters. I never will. Even a tiny minority like me makes them futile. That's the problem. Stop lashing out and raging at developers because you're mad at other users. It's pathetic.
@callebtc Users feel powerless, that's why they run Knots, not because they are retarded. It's not helpful to use insults. It's a sad situation and a completely avoidable one if communication from Core had been a bit more thoughtful and empathetic to their users.

It's impressive how many people were celebrating the white paper yesterday and recommending that everyone read it, when within the last month those same accounts were telling me that the white paper didn't matter anymore.

What may have actually ossified bitcoin isn't decentralization, but the social layer transitioning to follower based platforms like YT and Twitter. Becoming tribal and antagonizing people is how you build followers, but it's not how you build support for activating a softfork.

Even if we ignore its contents, BIP 444 was already dead on arrival. You guys can't even advocate for it without simultaneously aliening the majority of bitcoin users with pejoratives like "CoreTards". It's like when Hillary Clinton said "basket of deplorables", except bitcoin is
