We did it, we used our exploit to snapshot a running Android device, and then brought it into QEMU where we can single step it, apply full symbols (since we build a binary identical to the release build), and of course. fuzz it in the future :)

I stitched together a 588 image photo of the Mitutoyo scale ASIC resulting in a ~2.8 GiB image. Turned out really good! (warning 1.2 GiB download). GIMP, ImageJ, and nomacs all open it fine. Downscaled 17 MiB version

Do you enter root with `sudo su` or just prepend `sudo` to every command to admin your box? Also, does anyone know why Twitter only serves me DNS for 1/2 the day? I'll probably lose access after this post. They they hate personal recursive DNS resolvers?.

I got my first macro lens and took a photo of a 4.5mm x 3mm die for my linear scale reader. . One photo, no stacking, no microscope.

Reversed out a lil dual layer circuit board for my Mitutoyo scale. Just some simple buffers but I was curious if I could get even more control of the scale! I gotta get a better microscope camera so I can take better photos of the actual magic on the reader ASIC.

This gives me about 0.2um/m of resolution on the level, with a 100mm base on the X axis I'm getting ~20nm of resolution. Absolutely unreal.

Reversed enough of my level's code so I can now record data on Linux/Windows with a simple python script. Made some graphs of how level my surface plate is while I'm working nearby it. Technically the raw BT data gives me one extra sigfig, which honestly doesn't look like random.

Got a fancy level and I was able to map out that my granite surface plate has a 3um hole in the center!

I'm dropping a 10.0 CVSS Linux vulnerability in all Linuxes next week. Make sure your turn off your internet facing telnet servers.
