Only Focusing on 3 things rn: Learning. Connecting. Building. I’m transitioning from college student → builder. If you’re learning new skills or building something too, let’s connect. Building alone is cool, but building with others is makes the process a lot more cooler..

Software Dev has drastically changed in the past year… Rewatching an old vlog from @danielvandalen where his team said an MVP for a SaaS would take months. comparing it now, I saw @thomvlieshout posted that they built an MVP in 4 days. Insane! Big ups to the Ecomflow team!

Truth is none of it matters… the biggest thing I realised after 3 years is that: None of the wee ha woo ha habits matter (reading/meditating) They all don’t matter when you’re trying to build a business The only thing that matters is the work that moves your business forward

2 nights ago, i felt like going to overseas last night, i pulled the plug and bought the ticket it’s now 1 am and I’m in the airport waiting for my flight… lesson is, don’t spend too much time thinking and instead, actually take action decide, and don’t look back…

i just spent the past 2 days on social media scrolling these apps are addictive… you need to make sure that you have the right measures in place to stop this or else you will backtrack on all your progress

you dont need to “meditate” before you do work you dont need to read another 10 pages before you do work… Stop procrastinating and just do the work

Efforts to deepen focus is futile if you dont do it outside the time you focus… its like how an athlete needs to take care of his body even after training

Switching consistently between activities when you face boredom is a sure fire way to destroy your ability to focus Allocate time for the task, and when you are bored, DO NOT switch activities, instead sit in boredom and accept it

if you weren’t influenced by anything, what would you truly consider to be fulfilling? to some it may be living on a beach and fishing others may be owning multiple 7 figure business and being busy 24/7 with no influences, our definition of success would be vastly different

habits are the backbone of every successful person but what is more important is the identity that fuels the habits the person who reaches your goal is vastly different from who you are now…

what are you more willing to sacrifice? are you willing to sacrifice your free time, netflix shows and dinner dates? or… are you willing to sacrifice the jobs that your future business will provide? choose your sacrifices wisely…

Outcome based goals. The single most effective productivity booster When you have a deep work session, have outcome based goals If you are using the time to write set a goal of how much you want to write 5 pages We finish tasks on the time we allocate to it, spend it wisely
