It's been incredibly emotional photographing this project for the past 2 years. I've met friends for life + learned so much about resilience. the surf community is a wonderful, amazing space, and i'm so glad it's about to get better with more women+ BIPOC ppl surfing 💗.
Out in the water, the surfer and photographer @gabriellaangojo would become one with the swell. “I felt at home in the ocean’s glittery troughs and clouded depths,” she writes.
