Stacks has a $2.5B market cap, making it a top 40 token, with 28% of STX Stacked ($760M). 🔥 But what's the growth potential for the @Stacks stacking ecosystem? 🤔 Here are the insights we can take away from the Solana and Ethereum staking markets. 👀 🧵 ⬇️

Indeed, we have way too many EVM chains. Contracts on EVM chains have too many attacks and cannot be trusted by institutions. We need something better
Stacks is a deep tech ecosystem building the most advanced Bitcoin L2. It’s easy to have EVM clones. However, like Solana, Stacks devs recognize the limitations of EVM and are building a more advanced tech stack focused on safety and performance. The Wasm upgrade after Nakamoto

I bought Solana Saga last June and got fully compensated for various airdrops. I just preordered #Chapter2 from @solanamobile! If you missed out on Solana Saga, don't miss out on what's next, and the chance to refer others and climb the leaderboard.

That's really cool!
For a while @Starknet's Cairo has lacked a way to formally verify code. So we built our own. Unveiling Aegis, a formal verification tool for Cairo, built on Lean. https://t.co/t8j8UMmV1V 👇

Lending markets turn lenders into underwriters. Credit markets are underwriters themselves. We are the latter. Current solutions are not liquidity-aware & require manual updates to risk params, which has resulted in precarious situations. How would Aura have fared? A thread 🧶

It makes sense to me. The problem with L2s is that liquidity fragmentation. Liquidity concentration is very important for financial market’s success. Blockchain is created to disrupt financial services

Bitcoin has established itself as a hedge of “government printing money” and “government encroaching personal freedom” among millennials and Gen Z through the narrative initiated by crypto punks
If cash if a poor store of value, and gold & bitcoin are great stores of value, then when you get paid, why not just exchange your cash for gold & bitcoin, and then be thankful that when it comes time to pay your taxes you can just convert some back to the now devalued cash? 🤷

With L2s like Optimism, Arbitrum One, zkSync on mainnet, we shouldn’t have seen the Ethereum gas price surge like this, right? Ether transfer costs 5 USD, and ERC20 token transfer costs 12 USD at this gas price 🙃 Ethereum scalability solutions haven't done well

https://t.co/Pg9EnhMO52 Probably no more QE in coming years. Crypto hopium will be slowly gone

There is little to show in terms of the economic benefits of QE, but there are plenty of costs.

Both "Governance Minimisation" and "Autonomous Risk Parameters" are great ideas. Make "Smart Contract" really smart!
Babe, wake up, new article just dropped. This one covers governance. Short, sweet, and as exciting as governance can be. ⚫️ Governance Minimization ⚫️ JIT Attack Mitigation ⚫️ Autonomous Risk Parameters(❗️) https://t.co/Xpw60ieehF

Wow! ICP has made a bold announcement - allowing "smart contract"(misleading name) to make HTTP calls directly without going through "Oracle". "Oracle" has always been suspicious to me. Not everything should/can be decentralized. Let's be honest.

It was the bull markets that incentivised people to build stuff, but they happened to be built in bear markets because building takes time. Hopefully this bear will last longer to clean those bullshit projects in this space. This book 👇 is highly recommended
From the 2015-2016 bear market we got Ethereum. From the 2018-2019 bear market we got DeFi & NFTs. What'll be the big thing coming out of this bear market?
