Not only that, but if you search for "Dado Ruvic smashed glass" you'll find a bunch of photos that are obviously under the same piece of glass, sometimes under different orrientation. How do you decide where to overlay these cracks? I think only @DadoRuvic knows that secret 🤐

Well, thanks to solid detective work from @infraclub operative @grahamparks we've managed to confirm it is indeed the same piece of glass used on all these photos 💥🔨 🎉

With the news about @SVB_Financial today, stock photos of their logo behind smashed glass are making the rounds. The @Reuters credit goes to @dadoruvic who's also made a similar illustration for FTX. But how are these photos made, and is it the same piece of glass? 🧵

It's hard to find publicly available data with all the store locations, so I ended up screen-scraping (or discovering underlying APIs) for the store finders of all these chains, and a few more. Feel free to re-use the code and output data:

Turns out the "posh" areas are: * Most of West London * Greenwich/Blackheath * A strange corner of Walthamstow near Wood Street station * Alexandra Palace * (outside London) Windsor, Woking, Guildford, St Albans, Cambridge and a thin slice of Hove (methodology in next tweet)
