My other neighbours ought to be ashamed. A newcomer has arrived and dusted you all. Look how this family lights up their home, look how their corner of the compound gleams... and then look at yours: dark, lifeless, and utterly shameful. Embarrassing.

Lmao. The EP is based on Agric-era. I don’t like unnecessary circular arguments when my point is clear with data. Also yes, female financial hypergamy is caused by men. And still exist due to our Ego. It’s why many clubs are still free for women till date.

Nope. I didn’t flatten human history. Only said that EP is based on Agro era. They can’t analyse hunter-gather data and come to same conclusion. And even egalitarian societies shows the financial hypergamy closes than expand. Don’t assume biology. Pre-history doesn’t

In summary, men did not "cause" hypergamy, nor did agriculture invent it. Women show a preference for competent, resource-secure partners because of parental investment differences. That some women marry down does not negate this.
