AI's most overlooked opportunity: government services. They're the foundation of society, notoriously inefficient, and desperately need data-driven decisionmaking over human bias. Yet they receive the least AI investment. We should easily be looking at how to 100x the scope of AI.

As @SamoBurja says, “you can’t automate fake jobs”.
Think AI is gonna be okay. Pretty sure most white collar/office work takes about five hours a week and is basically UBI already to keep people content.

I grew up around blindness; my mom’s dad had retinitis pigmentosa, and I remember when Wired said in 2002 that visual prostheses were just around the corner. Today Science submitted our full CE mark application for marketing approval in Europe for our PRIMA retinal prosthesis.
