I disagree! Even though my quotes are free, they DO take time to make and paid ones ensure that you are getting genuinely interested clients! I know many makers include fur matching in their quotes and they should definitely be compensated for that.
Personal opinion:
Charging people for quotes is a horrible idea that sets a terrible precedent that should not be normalized or supported under any circumstances. You're practically paying a fee for the chance to get chosen for a commission. 🧵

One thing I definitely want to improve on is hiding seams— especially on suit heads!
Do you guys have any tips for how I can prepare fur or sew/shave it in such a way that seams aren’t visible? Mostly on round places like the muzzle! Thanks in advance 🍊🦇

Making the lining is always the most stressful part for me because it makes or breaks the comfort of the suit imo, but I’m really happy with how this one is coming out!

My suits are completely sewn! The only time glue is used is when I glue Velcro to the mouth, glue the eyes, and to attach the fur to the base. I may glue a line of felt around the rim of the mouth for a “lip” look. I’ve found it’s cleaner than stitching it on.

Something I don’t see often is makers offering an “everything but the head” partial pack!
Basically I make you the paws, tails, and arm sleeves but not the head.
Would anyone be interested in this, or do you see yourself going all in with a full partial?
