Looking back, it absolutely was the right decision for Matthew Knies to go back to NCAA last season. Accomplished what he set out to, and made the jump to pro hockey when he was confident and ready. Looks excellent this year.

There’s a learning curve for young players on the PK in the NHL. Doesn’t take much to get burned. Trust me I got burnt many times. Matthew Knies did a great job on the PK in the pre-season. Here’s an area he can tighten things up next time.
