Tonight, I found out that one of my images had been selected as one of the final 12 for the 2026 BBC Countryfile calendar. It is one of my massed Dragonflies at dawn. What an amazing privilege given the high quality images submitted to this competition. 😀

Anyone know where I can get reliable devil's-bit scabious seeds from? I bought some last year, but turned out to be field scabious 😩

This is the goat willow in a pot I'm growing. Doesn't look like much, but it's fed 2 types of sawflies, & it's currently feeding 2 types of caterpillars. I counted 8! Pebble prominent tonight, & 3 of these green ones (not too sure what they are).

Lesser stag beetle sadly found dead stuck in an empty plant pot in our garden. Lovely to see none the less, as never seen any stag beetle before.
