On a recent visit to the Black Hole Marsh at #SeatonWetlands, this Kingfisher was trying to hide on the automatic sluice that controls the water in and out from the river.🙂

There seems to be an abundance of Kingfishers around at the moment so hopefully it has been a good breeding year for them. Here are a few from various locations all within a 24hour period this week. The last one is an out of focus blur but so typical of a Kingfisher flight 🙂

Looks like we could be in for a great autumn of migrating Osprey here in the South West with reports from the Teign Estuary, River Dart, Exe Estuary, River Axe and others. Here's one which provided wonderful views this Bank Holiday weekend.

#Sidmouth #Devon the perfect location for watching a very polished display from the @rafredarrows this evening. Great show. Haven't seen the display for a number of years. The new formations, sound and graceful movement of the nine planes was so enjoyable. 😀
