i went to give my cat a lil kiss on the forehead but completely misjudged how close he was so instead i just smacked the hell out of his face with my face. i regret nothing. just look at him. hamsome

it was like when you wake up from a short nap confused thinking it’s the next day but i really did sleep that long and it actually was the next day

one time after staying awake for two or three days against my will i slept for 24 hours straight. i woke up in the same position i fell asleep in. it was disorienting in a way i cannot put into words

when i tell people i can’t sleep and they’re like have you tried a dark room :) with a fan on :) like ya the 100mg of seroquel i take for sleep doesn’t even work sometimes but i’m sure turning the lights off, something i definitely don’t already do every night, will fix it

i’ve been a mild insomniac my whole life but it got very, very bad after my first covid infection in 2022 and it never really got better

it was like three years of complaining to doctors that i can’t sleep even when my wellbeing is good before someone took me seriously and diagnosed me with chronic insomnia instead of generalized anxiety. woman moment

an angel gets its wings every time i manage to get eight uninterrupted hours of sleep

someday someone will give to me exactly what i give to them. not today, but someday

it doesn’t really feel like much has changed if i look back day by day but i’ve lived a thousand lives since my 25th birthday and each new one is better than the one before it

my last attempt was 3 days after i turned 25. eight months after that i got the job i still have and met the best people i’ve ever met and now i turn 28 this year. i achieved every goal i set at the beginning of my recovery and more. it gets better

i have found my way back countless times. i will do it again.
