I wrote down my thoughts on the latest release of uv and what it means for Rye and other tools in the space. In short: you all should be looking at uv and start to rally around it.

all the mimetic pull in the US is to expensive cities in the US. everything is pulling toward more work, more busyness, less family time, and more anxiety if I'm going to find a home base in the US I think I need to swim against this current. time to go anti-mimetic

@jlongster Same with JetBrains IDEs. They always want something for you. I call it “needy software”. When I open IDE, I don’t want to do what IDE needs. I want IDE to do what I need. I want to be in charge. God bless Sublime
