[Thread] 1/ This is a thread on Twitter manipulation around #Tunisia, where the current President is accused of instigating a coup. One Arabic trend translates as "Tunisians revolt against the Brotherhood". I analysed around 12000 tweets from 6800 unique accounts #disinformation

It seems to also appears on updated Windows 10 to another Windows 10 version... Check if you have Shadow Copy enabled for system protection... (but this is ON by default...) Conclusion: Updated Windows 10 (or 11 version) + System Protection Enabled (default) = vulnerable

Oddly, eBay prices indicate it’s worthwhile to buy prebuilt gaming PCs and part them out (comparing newegg to 3090 on eBay). Curious if Chia pushes this further with disk pricing rising
pcworld.com
Chia, the cryptocurrency led by BitTorrent founder Bram Cohen, uses available storage on SSDs or hard drives to mine cryptocurrency. Prices have already begun to soar as Chia miners buy them up.

I found a way to stuff up to ~3MB of data inside a PNG file on twitter. This is even better than my previous JPEG ICC technique, since the inserted data is contiguous. The source code is available in the ZIP/PNG file attached:

I often wonder if devs who crap on Windows (e.g., PG saying no great hacker would use Windows, Brooks citing Windows as poorly design in contrast to UNIX, etc.) have *either* made a serious attempt at using Windows or read the Windows Internals book. https://t.co/93VnxcdeT2
I've also never understood Widows snobbery. StackOverflow was running on 11 IIS boxes + 4 MySQL boxes in 2016, could tolerate failing down to 1 IIS box. Meanwhile, some trendy SV companies were serving multiple orders of magnitude less traffic at multiple OoM greater cost.
