I’m excited today to share Grapevine, a system that makes it really easy for AI agents to search company knowledge across, Slack, Notion, codebase, and more. The first app we’re launching with it is a company GPT that works remarkably well, better than any alternative today.

I am so incredibly lucky to get to work with @gradypb . He's always shown up for us through the hardest times, and has continually raised our bar not because he demands it, but because you want to do right by his dedication to you. @sequoia is an amazing institution and the best

1/ We @sequoia have always said that we’re only as good as our next investment. It’s also true that we’re only as good as our next generation @Alfred_Lin and I get to work with the best generation yet:

Lastly: for the AI-native companies. We started down this path because we saw it as a prerequisite for all the interesting agents we wanted to build for ourselves. Expect additional launches on how to build on top of Grapevine, and a few cool applications of our own

We’d love for everyone to try it out themselves! We put a lot of effort into making it easy to set up (less than 30 min) and the first month is free. Grapevine is built with our company’s SOC 2 Type II standards and if it doesn’t work out, it’s super easy to delete your data.

It’s changed the way we work: engineering channels that have 5+ questions/day are fully answered proactively by AI, and people across departments go to the bot first for most questions. Our 15+ beta customers have been consistently surprised by the quality of answers too.

But as we solved details in data processing, search algorithm, and more, we eventually achieved 85% accuracy. (For reference, the best human score our founders got was 70%)

So, we created a set of 100+ representative questions, from hard technical questions to company-specific knowledge questions. At first, the state-of-the-art enterprise search products were getting about 50% accuracy, and our in-house system was getting 35%.

Like many of you, we were interested in a GPT that understands your company. We tried all the existing tools (including the expensive ones), but while they were good at answering “what is X team’s Q4 goal,” they weren’t good at day-to-day questions that actually blocked people.

This is live. Real-time. On a Quest 3. Feels like you're actually talking to a real person. Because you are. Couldn't wait around while Meta burns another $60B on this. 🔥

Most people agree on the benefits of remote work, but think it needs to come with a tradeoff in company culture, cohesiveness, and energy. Read from trailblazers like @0xIntuition on how you can use @gather_town to get the best of both worlds:

Building a fast-paced, collaborative culture as a fully remote team isn’t easy—but @Gather_town helped us crack the code. Here's how we used a virtual office to supercharge our beta launch and stay aligned, no matter where we were. 🧵👇

In the last few years, @gather_town has been “refounded” multiple times, from going after our vision of the Metaverse at the start of the pandemic, to refocusing on remote work and rebuilding the entire team to get there. @jinen has been a lynchpin in refounding Gather, and for
