I find this editorial so disheartening! It shows lack of empathy & seems intentionally divisive at the expense of fact, compassion & understanding. My experience is that the drought is/was real- we will only know retrospectively when it has ended. Please be human next time.
Disappointing that the @FinancialReview published this insulting, insensitive & ill-informed 'editorial' from @apatrickafr labeling the drought a 'fake farm crisis'. A sad demonstration of the disconnect b/w city & bush. A disconnect @NationalFarmers is working hard to close.

Book Flex fare w @Qantas online, pay extra in case change in agenda. Flex isn't so flex. Wait 1hr and 38 minutes on hold plus have to pay change fee and fare difference. Apparently there's another class of flex fare you can't book online.. WTF? Such a rort. Do better Qantas.

#4Corners you missed completely that we SOLD water licence to the government in order to upgrade our irrigation systems, meaning we retain our staff, support local businesses and community AND that sold water is managed for the environment by govt by CEWH

As suspected, no mention yet that for every project funded there is volumetric water license taken out of the production and returned to the environment. That’s 700GL less water for irrigation and more for the environment no matter how you look at it. #4Corners #factsmatter
