Yesterday I informed the @slqld @QldLitAwards of my disgust at the news @1KarenWyld’s black&write! fellowship had been rescinded after interference from the Qld Minister for the Arts John-Paul Langbroek in a clear attempt to punish a Blak writer for speaking on Palestine.

Fuck them. I WAS a recipient of the prestigious Black & Write Fellowship award. SLQ can take my award away and withdraw my prize money, but they can't take away the fact that Blak literary peers read my manuscript and judged it worthy. Much love to mob who supported my work ❤️
