Instagram blocked me from posting my daily Rosary for the second time this week to “protect our community”, with no other explanation.
@instagram
, can you please tell me what’s so dangerous about a Rosary?
Many people don’t know that all of Catholic teaching on faith and morals is rooted in Sacred Scripture.
Because of that, many Catholics are confused when they see anti-Catholic posts.
That’s the main reason why I’m on TikTok.

If you disagree with anything the Church teaches, it’s you who needs to change, not the Church.
Do your research and pray about it with an open mind and heart.
Today, I played basketball with some young men from my church community.
Afterwards, almost every one of them asked me for confession and received absolution.
Praise God!
Friends, it’s hard to imagine anything more offensive than some of the behavior of the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence,” which I think can only be described as an anti-Catholic hate group.
TikTok removed my video where I posted the vandalism that happened at St. Peter’s Chaldean Catholic Cathedral because it went against their community guidelines. After I appealed, I got a notification in less than a minute that my appeal was rejected.
@tiktok_us
, please explain.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church says that it is “contrary to human dignity to cause animals to suffer or die needlessly.” Does that include eating meat?
I encourage everyone to watch this short film on the Catholic Church’s stance on homosexuality, which shows how everyone should be treated with love, regardless of what they believe:
A friendly reminder that you have a guardian angel who works 24/7 to protect you from evil.
“Angel of God, my guardian dear,
to whom God's love commits me here, ever this day be at my side,
to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.”
Say this daily:
“Angel of God,
my guardian dear,
to whom God's love
commits me here,
ever this day,
be at my side,
to light and guard,
to rule and guide.
Amen.”
Happy Feast of the Guardian Angels!
My dad left the hospital today after a tough battle with COVID, and the staff gave him a beautiful send-off.
Thank God, and thank you to all health care workers. May God strengthen them to continue their hard work, and may he grant eternal rest to all who have passed away.
O Sacred Heart of Jesus,
filled with infinite love,
broken by my ingratitude,
pierced by my sins,
yet loving me still;
accept the consecration
that I make to You
of all that I am
and all that I have.
Take every faculty
of my soul and body
and draw me and nearer
to you. Amen.
This is a traditional hymn from the Chaldean liturgy to the Virgin Mary sung in Aramaic by Sister Narjis of the Chaldean Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This was at a prayer service for Lebanon led by Pope Francis.
On Kobe’s birthday, let’s pray for him and thank God that one of the last things he did before he died was attend Mass and receive the Body of Christ 🙏

Out of all the men in the world, Jesus chose St. Joseph to be his earthly father.
He is an example of faithfulness, obedience, and hard work.
St. Joseph, pray for us!

“There are not one hundred people in the United States who hate the Catholic Church, but there are millions who hate what they wrongly perceive the Catholic Church to be.”

is here, and while the Chaldean Church is in full unity with the Catholic Church, it has a different way of approaching this liturgical season, by centering it around the different annunciation stories at the beginning of the Gospels.
We’re going to Iraq!
One of the events we’re going for is the installation of a Chaldean Catholic bishop in Mosul for the first time since the ISIS invasion - a huge step for the future of Iraqi Christians.
Please keep us all in your prayers!
Today Pope Francis made our Patriarch the first voting cardinal in the history of the Chaldean Church.
Congratulations to Cardinal Sako and our whole Church!
Instead of gossiping:
“When you hear evil of any one, cast any doubt you fairly can upon the accusation...Do your best kindly to check the scandal-bearer, and if you know anything favourable to the person criticised, take pains to mention it.”

is a 3-day fasting period, which commemorates the fasting and penance of the Ninevites, which they did in response to the preaching of the prophet Jonah. We fast and pray for God’s mercy to be on us and the whole world.
6 months into my sister’s pregnancy she had her son Jonah.
New York has made it legal to kill a baby that age.
Inside or outside the womb, it’s the same baby with the same beating heart and the same right to life.

Today Fr. Francis Sher died at the age of 94. When I went to Iraq in 2019 I visited his village, Shaqlawa, and Bishop Emanuel Shaleta, who was a student of Fr. Francis in the seminary, asked him to share some advice for us young priests. He said that the four most important
St. Ignatius of Loyola was wounded in battle and unable to get out of bed.
During his quarantine, he started reading the lives of the saints and was inspired to become one.
Thank God there was no Twitter back then.

Fun fact:
It’s actually more traditional to receive on the hands in the Chaldean Catholic Church.
Here’s an excerpt from an ancient Chaldean liturgical hymn, sung during Communion on feasts:
“Strengthen, O Lord, the hands that extend and receive the Host that forgives sins…”
“We pronounce, declare, and define it to be a divinely revealed dogma: that the Immaculate Mother of God, the ever Virgin Mary, having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory.”
- Pope Pius XII
“During this new year I resolve to begin a new life. I do not know what will happen to me during this year. But I abandon myself entirely to you, my God. And my aspirations and all my affections will be for you.”
- St. Gemma Galgani
St. John Vianney’s heart was so on fire for the Lord and his Church that it remained incorruptible. I was blessed to be able to see in person.
Happy Feast of St. John Vianney, the patron saint of priests!
