I asked a lady in church today “where are you from?” She told me Gillingham- but originally Kerala, India. She asked me if I was from Ireland or England as most priests she meets are Irish. Neither of us was offended. Because neither of us was looking to be offended.

The C of E today told the world that it believes the conclusions of the sexual revolution got it right and Jesus, scripture & 2000 yrs of tradition got it wrong. What is the point of Anglicanism if it just follows the world and abandons its own historic teaching?

The situation in the church is scandalous. A blow to clergy morale. Traditionalists suppressed to the point of being unable to advertise holy mass. Whilst NOTHING is done about blatant heresy in Germany which plainly contradicts scripture. Our bishops have abandoned us.

If the current Catholic hierarchy have lost confidence in the Catholic faith they should have integrity and resign. It’s time to demand action from bishops - the silence is deafening, who is a faithful shepherd and who a mere institutional hireling, we shall know very soon.

Pope Benedict’s authentically Catholic vision of unity was to call Anglicans home via the Ordinariate. Pope Francis’ modernist vision of unity is to call Catholics to be like the liberal Anglicans. Hence his confusing commissioning of Anglican female bishops today.

@giles_fraser There is a lovely story that Archbishop Ramsey once got into a pulpit & found a slip of paper that simply read “bastard” Without batting an eyelid he said “I have often received unsigned mail but this is the first time I had a signature but no letter!’ Then he preached 😄

@CharlesFazacker @colinbrazierGBN That’s a nice idea. In the reality I live in billions was taken from tax payers not for services and welfare but for elites charging thousands per hour for things like track and trace. Single biggest robbery in history
