They eventually started an open casting call, but I remember an employee (allegedly) venting about how the applicants were mostly white men, which like, yeah, you put your open casting call on obscure facebook groups and nowhere else goofy what did you expect.

A documentary company once asked me to participate in an interview for a project they were doing with Xbox for Halos 20th anniversary. I reached out to some people I know from Halo/Xbox marketing to verify its legitimacy, and absolutely no one knew anything about it.
