I spent Dr. MLKJr day pondering why I don't matter to white Christians, with whom I went to church for YEARS, and don't matter to white Christian academic colleagues. Why is my Black body so dismissable, disposable? Why did I think I was loved? Still hurts. .

Did a "Do Not Intubate" directive for my Aunt in NYC over the telephone on Friday p.m. She has Covid19. She was admitted to the hospital but is still in the E.R. waiting for a bed. I am not mad. I am incredibly, helplessly sad.
