The first version of @AirAssistApp only refreshed aircraft positions every minute (when live positions was already the norm), yet still people paid for it. I only fixed that after 2-3 months!

Bug or feature 😅
An upcoming update will bring “altitude path colour”, and showing the path of the most recent flight (instead of “short path”). But due to a bug I got the full route history of the past day. Not performant in the app, but looks cool 🤩

Oh this is neat. I never look here. I think being in the lower percentile on crash rate is a good thing (don’t want to be in the 75th there) Also, I charge too little? (Probably due to a lot of low priced early subscribers) My 28day retention is also in the 75th 🔥
1. Go to App Store → Analytics → Your app → Benchmarks 2. Note where you're in the 25th percentile ↳ (AKA: it's really bad)

No matter how big your tester group size is, your app’s onboarding, being very critical, is never really thoroughly tested by this group. It means every update you have to be cautious about knocking something over in the onboarding sequence!

So there is this Facebook page that uses screenshots from my app, and they clip them in such a way my domain name always exactly falls off… and now other media are referring to them as a source 🥹 Luckily my users have a sharp eye, and help me find this stuff!
