We regularly hear about the social contributions of family firms. It was great to listen to Maurice Healy, Chairman of Healy Group, on what social contribution means to his family business and the allocation of 20% of pre-tax profits to social causes. @DCUNCFB @DCU @HealyGroup

I’m here at RTE Radio to talk about Family Business Succession. Hope to speak about succession processes in family firms in Europe but also some of the unique aspects of family firms across Asia.

Feeling privileged to be in such prestigious scholarly company on this paper on family entrepreneurship research. Paper entitled "A multi-voiced account of family entrepreneuring research: expanding the agenda of family entrepreneurship" can be read online via open access.

Female entrepreneur, Liavan Mallins, with our final year NED students. During her keynote, Mallins spoke about resilience and the learnings from sport. A gifted athlete, she set the world hand gliding record by gliding for 7.5hrs, at a height of 18,000 feet for 132 miles.

Great to see our research on Necessity Entrepreneurship published at Academy of Management Annals. This important study will shed new light on what we know about those engaging in entrepreneurship out of necessity in both the developing and developed world.
