Okay for part 2 trying to decide between: - train an llm to simulate the cartpole āworldā OR - try finetuning autonomously using a weird genetic + llm approach for learning
Trained a local LLM to play the OG Cartpole from @OpenAI gym Runs entirely locally on my MacBook and plays in real time Total training time ~30mins on my M1 from a simple dataset I generated LLM sees basic textual state responds with left or right action

used distilgpt2 (gpt suggested) idk if thereās something better but seems to work okay and training was fast
