Unlocking does the opposite. It immediately removes your voting power from voted pools. Although, if you changed your mind, you can relock and your voting power gets added back according to the distribution recorded in the contract.

Tip of the day for vxASTRO @astroport_fi . While voting you aren't sealing you voting power in contract but just set your voting power distribution. I.e. voting for NTRN-USDC 50% and dATOM-USDC 50% just records your distribution. Note, that you won't be able to change.
