Baddies who are into the intersection of esoterica, psychology, philosophy, metaphysics, occult and neuroscience are my favorite genre.

I adore people who have a niche research obsession. Whether it's Chinese folklore or King Aethelstan or the symbolism of alchemy, I would be glad to let you pontificate. In a time when too many people are totally incurious, we need souls that are passionate about learning.

Crying is the ego dying & the soul returning. This is why in Sufism, it’s said that shedding tears is purification of the soul & resurrection of the heart. Tears wash away what keeps you numb — in crying, we allow ourselves to feel & in feeling, we revive our heart’s sensitivity.

And, if you had a good cry and somatic release, then it was DEFINITELY me! 🥰 The coolest thing about energy healing is that can be sent remotely, no matter the distance — which is why I love working with remote clients.

If you felt a lil tingle of heart center expansion in your chest, it may or may not have been me!

We need to talk more about the challenging experience of those of us who were tapped to awaken our ancestral bloodline gifts but are being initiated in modern Western society, outside of the cultures, tribes & villages that would’ve trained us, nurtured us & honored us with ease.

Some of you have never walked through the fire of shamanic illness and lived to tell the tale and it shows.

The book I’m holding is “Shamanism And Islam: Sufism, Healing Rituals and Spirits in the Muslim World” — I highly recommend it as a read for anyone curious about shamanic rites in Islamic contexts. I also highly recommend spending some time outside with Mother Earth, as always.

“grounding energy” is a vibration that reminds us of our physicality & connection to the earth. this is why interacting with nature & animals, walking outside barefoot, human touch & physical activity of all kinds can anchor us back in after we’ve over-activated our mental space.

Mother, your children over at NASA are kinda slow to catch up, huh?
BREAKING: NASA Discovers Planet-Wide Electric Field Around Earth 🌎 NASA scientists have discovered a planet-wide electric field surrounding Earth, confirming a 60-year-old hypothesis. AND also proving there are still subtle energies at play that we were unaware of.

If you ground your feet into Earth’s soil & connect to Gaia’s core, you feel the vibrations of a profound, all-pervading Love. You’ll understand why many of us revere nature with a fanatical devotion, why we go mad with pain when it is harmed. Earth is Love & Love is our Mother.

Mother Nature is grounding & soothing to the nervous system. She’s also a consistent, unconditional, reliable support system. For those who don’t have safe people to lean on, for those overstimulation prone, for those who get stuck in their heads a lot — Nature is a great friend.

The Earth pulled me out of a pain nothing human or manmade ever could. This is how I remembered my sacred pact with Nature & this is where it will end: when I take my last breath, leave this world, buried in the soil from which I came. A return to Nature. A return to the Beloved.

It was the trees that comforted me as I cried in our neighborhood woods. It was the birds who sang to me when I had no one to speak to. It was the sound of a babbling brook & the feel of my feet against the dirt that regulated my nervous system. It was Mother Earth that saved me.

When I was in the deepest depression of my life, in the hellish throes of a dark night of the soul, it wasn’t therapy that saved me. It wasn’t psychiatric medication that saved me. It wasn’t meditation or even spirituality that saved me. It was taking nature walks that saved me.
