The Christmas 4x4 Sudoku puzzles I posted a few days ago were a huge hit, so I made a winter version as well. (These 4x4 puzzles are targeted at 4-8 year olds or those who have never been introduced to Sudoku.) https://t.co/SgRskyAUwh #mtbos #iteachmath #puzzlingclassroom

Okay I’ll say it. While ‘student led’ feels and sounds lovely, in reality it short-changes our students and is quite inefficient and plain inequitable. We need to stop falling for hype and lean into what works based on how learning actually happens.

This is a rubric page from my teacher evaluation. ‘Teacher-led’ receives the LOWEST possible score on the rubric 😵‍💫 My 6 year olds should mostly be teaching each other!? 😫

Was in a dating site and saw that someone was "commutative" this is great news! I've been looking for an abelian partner.

I know we are all teaching and learning under unprecedented circumstances but if you can, allow your students to do some #MathPlay. You will not be disappointed with the results, here are a few examples via @Desmos from precalc ss at #WeAreChappaqua #MTBoS #ITeachMath #MathisFun
