This is great but postgraduate students don’t benefit. We don’t get a reduction in fees (still paying approx €7500 a year), only a handful of PhD students got the extra 500 euro, stipends are still below living wage. These standards only push students away from phd positions.
Today I am announcing a further €4.3m for the student assistance fund to assist students & their families with cost of living pressures. This brings the fund to the highest level ever. Increasing student grants, reducing fees & a record level fund. More:
