Alright friends, this is really it, my very last thread and my farewell to twitter, on the 10th anniversary of @seedandspark. I'm here to say THANK YOU to this community who has been the reason the last 10 years were possible

And thank you to this twitter community - your ideas, writing, reflections, kind words and sharp wit have been the wind beneath my wings (ITS A GOOD SONG OK?) since 2009. You are a huge part of this past 10 years success and support. I will miss you terribly.

Thank you to the tremendous group of investors and advisors who started as *total strangers* and have so meaningfully invested time and resources in our collective dream to accelerate the impact of creativity.

Thank you HUGE to my women founders who have been there in the thick of the shit to help me wade out @GretaMcAnany @lisaadrienne_ @ceofarah Sky Kelley and so very many more.

Then of course my family - @ericbestonline @rubyruby49 and my incredible husband who I think quit twitter months ago. He brings me tea ever day at 1pm and it's the reason I continue to function at all. And my dear cousin @CharlesBest for sincerely inspiring it all to start.

Then the Seed&Spark team, dozens of incredible people throughout the years (some from those twitter chat days!) who lent their time and talents. Some are now on to your big big thing (looking at you @k_to_the_t and @OwnTrail and @ejoruche and @bosa_life).

The first folks I have to thank are the creators - you know who you are, you were on one of our #stayindie #twitterchat threads, building, sharing and learning alongside us. Looking at you @Craia9 @MichaelDiBiasio @gerrymaravilla and so, so, so many more.

Wow. @seedandspark turns TEN today! I will have a lot more to say about this later but filled with so many feelings today.

I have a very different reaction than many journalists. I see a highly intelligent, obsessively calculating, manipulative, compulsive lier. Nothing relatable. A total fraud. Also, fascinating the stark contrast in how SBF is covered vs Holmes.

While nobody would argue that pay is important, this comment perpetuates the idea you can buy people off and treat them any which way. Many people take lower paying jobs to get out of toxic cultures.

The one who saved my life and stomped the shooter’s face in was not a drag queen, she is a trans woman. Let’s not call trans women drag queens during this time of grieving over a transphobic attack.
