tldr; we lost the sd60 primary 🙁 BUT we are so pumped to continue our momentum into Ward 3 of City Council✊ This statement reaffirms our policies and priorities, and we need YOU to make them happen!

Props to community members who hold us accountable. As BIPOC students, recent grads, and immunocompromised family members and friends, we shouldn't fall into the anti-masking trap. These reminders keep us going despite passive aggressiveness and blatant ignoring from others.

Admittedly, our campaign hasn't been on top of our mask game to appease moderates and anti-maskers. That changes now. The rise of H5N1, Norovirus, and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic reminds us that to protect our neighbors, we must mask up. Resources:

Emilio is on the ballot Tuesday! We stand by our complaint that student and youth voices cannot be heard if the primary takes place before winter break ends, but we're fighting as hard as we can to be seen. Turn out to vote!🗳️
