Pretty chuffed with this work. We show that having POCUS trained clinicians performing and reporting scans as part of acute care leads to a dramatic reduction in departmental radiology requests. We help not hinder! More reasons to embed this in daily practice where possible...

Exciting day @NWAngliaFT in the @PeterboroughEM as we start introducing new @ButterflyNetInc devices roll out for use in multiple areas of the department with the aim of improving flow and care for patients as well as training for staff 💪 soon to come to acute med as well!!

@davidnnaumann @UHNM_NHS we now do all our “simple” abscesses using Penthrox (Green Whistle) on our SSDEC. Done over 300 with massive savings for the Trust in terms of bed days and theatre time. Excellent patient feedback and outcomes. https://t.co/yBHxiTmVDN happy to share experience Dave.
