When you win championships every year it’s “demanding” & “getting the best out of his players”. When you’re everybody else it’s “he needs to stop verbally abusing his players”
It saddens me to tell you that my father, Edward, passed away today. He was always there to give me a hug or a kick in the ass and there was a lot more of one than the other. 🙏🏼🍀
@BruceFeldmanCFB
This is a ridiculous tweet. Ohio State has NFL players up & down its roster and was destroyed by a Purdue team that lost to Eadtwrn Michigan. Play the games & save the personnel crap for the combine
#LaxTwitter
paid a whole lot more attention to the college lacrosse season than the committee did and the real shame is they've tarnished the postseason in a huge way
Just when you think
#lacrosse
is moving in the right direction as a television product you realize the World Axe Throwing League is on real TV today while Duke/Denver and Hopkins/Loyola are not.
@USLacrosseMag
@Inside_Lacrosse
RIP to Richie Moran. A true giant in the sport of lacrosse and a guy who could tell a tale with the best of them. The game won’t be the same without him
“They’re ranked 4th because they beat Duke twice but their season is over because Duke isn’t a tourney tourney team but if Duke won they would’ve been in so it actually is 2 wins over a tourney team but it’s not. Now if Cuse had beaten Cornell or Albany or Hopkins…”
Kind of crazy how many teams can play college baseball & softball into the middle of June but lacrosse has to wrap up by Memorial Day.
#pushtheseasonback
Here’s all you need to know about the talent level in
@PremierLacrosse
There’s a team that has Rabil, Pannell, Baptiste, Durkin and Ryan Brown on the roster. And it’s losing
Funny how the arrival of a football team reminds us that lacrosse needs to get out of football stadiums. Today at Arlotta and last week at Klockner shows how electric these games can be on campus
I now live in a home where the residents do nothing but play knock hockey and nerf hoops. They eat nothing but microwave popcorn. They don’t wake up until noon. I’ve finally joined a fraternity
Georgetown has every right to fire Patrick Ewing but maybe someone should tell the entitled snot students that nobody would care about
@GeorgetownHoyas
if it wasn’t for Patrick Ewing
If you told me back in 1989 that
@NDlacrosse
would one day host and beat Johns Hopkins in an NCAA Tournament game I would’ve bought you all the beer in the Linebacker, CJ’s and Club 23 🍀
Somehow under Marcus Freeman the
@NDFootball
team took over the burn at a regular season
@NDlacrosse
game & somehow
@Marcus_Freeman1
made it to Philly to see
@FightingIrish
win a natty but Brian Kelly could never be a fan at ND? Please how full of crap can you be
Brian Kelly laid out the advantages of recruiting at LSU in an interview Monday.
"I usually have them throw stuff at me. But to go sit with my wife and my family at a baseball game and watch it and be a fan is something I’ve never had in my career.”
What the
@PremierLacrosse
has done is amazing but if this is the end of
@MLL_Lacrosse
then
#lacrosse
fans should raise a glass to
@BodyByJake
& Dave Morrow for being decades ahead of their time and making pro outdoor lacrosse a reality.
A Governor on the east coast says the return of sports would be good for the country. A Governor on the west coast says no sports until 2021. They are all just making it up as they go along.
I didn’t go to an
#IvyLeague
school so I need someone to explain to me the logic of the
@YaleLacrosse
not being able to play this week but
#Yale
hoops being able to play next week?
In 2014 I thought
@theACC
lacrosse was the best single year conference in the history of college sports. 2021 is giving it a run for its money. Name another conference/sport where every team was a national title contender.
I would like to thank the good lord for letting me live long enough to see Maryland be the plucky underdog against Notre Dame in a National Championship Game 🍀
1) When your name is Eamon McAnaney you don’t expect to find out about another Eamon McEneaney on Wide World of Sports but that’s exactly what happened when I was 7.

Earlier this summer many threw bouquets at Steve Tisch for taking a shot at Trump. Yet no one ever asks how come the Giants have never shown interest in bringing in Kapernick. Now a team with a 37 year old QB has Kyle Lauletta & Alex Tanney as the backups.
Mike Krzyewski is a basketball coach not a journalism professor or an ombudsman. If he wants to take a gazillion dollar pay cut to teach journalism go for it but until then answer the question without giving a lecture.
Who has access to the
@PremierLacrosse
hotline to tell them that the entire east coast is stuck inside and we need a playoff game live on
@NBCSN
right now!
The BIG 10 folds and all of a sudden the PAC 12 is like “oh yeah football is doable” and you want us to believe this was all about science and medicine?
I’m aware very few are noticing or care but it’s amazing how well 2 lacrossse leagues have gone about creating a bubble and salvaging a season during a pandemic.
In total, 226 individuals (players, coaches and staff) were tested in the second round of testing.
There were 226 tests with a negative result.
There were 0 tests with a positive result.
There were 0 inconclusive test results.
Does
#lacrosse
need to be more diverse, of course but maybe instead of constantly whining about it over and over the
#lacrosse
community can pay attention to how
#NYC
is leading the way to
#growthegame
This former crew from the
@HighbridgeGreen
lacrosse team was killing it out there for
@CardinalHayes
Lacrosse earlier today. Major shout out to Fluffy, John, Brandy, Alfred, Elvis, Justin and Rene for winning their opening game 🔥. Keep up the great work 💪
I’m honored and humbled to join the board of

BREAKING: UConn Pres. Tom Katsouleas says that fall sports will likely be cancelled.
"Current thinking is that likely fall sports will be cancelled - with the exception of those that can be played at a safe distance”.
The Pres. spoke to a UConn Journalism class moments ago.
Since it appears to be stick up for your favorite sideline reporter day let me just say that
@QKessenich
and
@paulcarcaterra
take a back seat to nobody in that role. Yeah I’m biased but watch one of their games and try telling me you didn’t learn anything from their reports
Not to overload on the posts but it gives me comfort knowing my dad is enjoying his first bourbon in heaven reveling in the fact that Declan has decided to torment me for many years to come.
#karma
#whatdididotodeservethis
ESPN has a deep crop of sideline reporters to choose from for Maria Taylor’s replacement on Saturday night but I hope
@QKessenich
&
@paulcarcaterra
get some serious consideration. They’ve more than paid their dues and are as good as anybody the network has.
