Our work on a "sense-and-respond" epicardial drug delivery device is out today. This soft, multifunctional reservoir conforms and adheres to the heart surface without sutures, can sense epicardial ECG and deliver anti-arrhythmics as needed. Multiple reservoirs can be used for.

Left heart simulators have advanced, but replicating the complexities of the right ventricle remains a noticeable gap. In our recent paper in @NatureCVR, we addressed this challenge, shifting the spotlight to the right heart.

This was an amazing team effort, and we're only getting started with recapitulating different disease states, other parts of the heart, and testing various surgical and transcatheter interventions.

There are a number of innovative interventions being developed specifically to treat right ventricular dysfunction and tricuspid valve disease - we want to help to test them in a tunable, anatomically and biomechanically accurate model.
