A year after legally changing my name I’m still struggling to get things updated. This week’s challenge? @shop. Apparently, “It’s impossible to change your name. Delete your account.”?! Like, people change their names for all kinds of reasons all the time… how is this a thing?

Another interesting find... If I select Non-Binary, my rate doesn't change at all. I mean, having the option there SEEMS progressive, but that sort of indicates that @GEICO just associates Non-Binary people as Male on the backend?!

So apparently if you change your gender marker with @GEICO, they'll just straight up raise your premium? You'd think the lack of Testosterone in my body would LOWER it. 😅
