Thank you Peter Behr for writing such a thoughtful review of the implications of global transmission developments for #OffshoreWind. @Anbaric continues to work towards a transmission program that will enable the US to build OSW at the scale needed to meet climate goals.

This will be a critical FERC examination of whether there can be integrated offshore grids that will support the onshore grids, e.g. Project Neptune that connects PJM to NYISO, or many lines to offshore farms. Ocean floors and interconnections need not follow 100 year-old errors.

Good next step from FERC... how to integrate 30GW of offshore wind into the Northeast deserves careful review.

Indeed it did, Bruce. We fear the proposed solution may not enable #mystic to retire. @isonewengland dismissed many of the more robust proposals for reasons @Anbaric shows were erroneous. Shine a light on this process, please.
