Yes. The city needs at least 300k more to rebuild its population. Well managed immigration is essential.

We need the same rate of Car Tax in the UK as the Dutch- standard petrol car comes in at around 1000β¬ a year.

The biggest difference between the UK and north European countries is a combination of litter and shabiness- if we gave the country a decent clean and repaint and prosecuted those who make a mess the difference would be transformational.

I'm not naive enough to expect rejoin in one term but Starmer is evidence based and the evidence is being attacked as pro-EU by his opponents didn't have any effect should help them be braver.

Either they voted Labour as they had other priorities or they voted Reform or Tory and they are too divided to win. Either way Labour success didn't hinge on Brexit.

The real good news is the Conservatives told the country Starmer would reverse Brexit and it did really improve their position. In some way the Tories stress tested the importance of the pro-Brexit vote to Labour and discovered it doesn't matter.
