It is astounding to me how many people are unable to see Candace Owens's obsession with Charlie Kirk's death for what it is, and are so easily swayed by her manipulations. Left, right — honestly, we should all be terrified.

I was not a Charlie Kirk fan, but the way people on the right have hijacked his death to further their own hateful, self-aggrandizing agenda is absolutely appalling. He didn't deserve that. Nor does his wife or TPUSA. Anyone who loved him should be horrified and mad as hell.

I say this because Candace is not a fringe voice on the right anymore. She’s fully mainstream and she’s growing. She is capitalizing on legitimate anti Zionist sentiment and exploiting Charlie’s death to grow her audience. Erika Kirk and @TPUSA do not deserve this.

Candace Owens has spent the last few weeks convincing her 8 million followers that Israel killed Charlie Kirk. She’s not doing this because she’s an advocate for Charlie or for Palestinian lives. It’s because she hates Jews and loves clicks. We have to call this what it is.

Many of the raw vegan influencers I spoke to said Karolina's death had nothing to do with her diet. They believe she died because she refused help and essentially lost the will to live. Many declined to speak w/ me, fearing the story would reflect poorly on the community.

After a few months in Bali, Karolina checked into a retreat in the outskirts of Ubud. She was so weak the staff had to turn her over in bed. She was found dead on Dec. 11, 2024. She was just 27 years old.

At one point, Karolina met Jenn Peach, a coach who claimed she could heal women w/ EDs on a raw vegan diet. Karolina asked Jenn if she could briefly live w/ her, and Jenn said no. “It was too much on my nervous system to be around someone that I think is going to die," she said.

When she got there, Bali was nothing like she expected — and Karolina's weight was dangerously low. The influencers I spoke to told me they offered her help, but she declined. "She didn't want to deal with doctors," one said. "She only wanted to recover on a raw vegan diet."

For years, Karolina dreamed of going to Bali, the epicenter of the raw vegan community. She idolized influencers who lived there, and dreamed of living with her "soul fam" in the tropics, where she could eat coconut and watermelon all day.

Karolina's health rapidly declined. On Facebook, she frequently posted in raw vegan groups w/ questions about her crumbling fingernails or rotting teeth. The answer was always the same: get more sun, eat more fruit.

Karolina Krzyzak, 27, was an aspiring influencer from Poland who struggled with an eating disorder for years. When she found fruitarianism, she became deeply immersed in the community, despite the concerns of her family and friends. Her posts show her rapidly wasting away.
