The worst part about writing an authentic neurodivergent voice is that few agents, editors, or publishers "connect" to your story Part of that I think is lack of understanding, another on market, & before anyone shouts that these stories are being published... no they aren't
Writers are constantly told to write to market, which slowly homogenizes the entire industry as ppl change their voice and style to fit molds that didn't want their authentic selves. Don't give up on your own voice though, bc it's uniquely you and only you can write it

Rereading old stories later is a lesson unto itself on both how creative you are and how far your writing has come. Its rewarding that the person who wrote that didn't stop.
