what’s a pressure washer when you’ve got a fire pump? this was fun
CA sea-lions haul out on Endurance Array shelf buoys during the day. The buoys ride higher at night, when the sea-lions leave to feed. Aluminum guards keep the sea-lions off the solar panels and prevent sea-lions from chewing wires and connectors. @NSF, #nsffunded, @OSUCEOAS

excited to share im joining the science crew aboard this ship for the next month! fun to put my marine engineering skills to use as a member of the 'relief pool' for @unols. excited to see all things NSF @oceanobserv.
R/V Sikuliaq docked today in Newport, Oregon, arriving a few days early to avoid an upcoming storm system. The cruise successfully calibrated the ship’s new EM304 MKII multibeam systems with the help of the UNOLS Multibeam Advisory Committee. 📷 Jenny Grischuk
