10/10, would recommend. Since I started using TE/3 about 3 years ago, I really dislike using the Power BI desktop app for anything but the report layer. TE/3 is, IMHO, so much better for writing measures, running queries, etc. and it really shines when you manage a model in.
What's the difference between Tabular Editor 2 and Tabular Editor 3? . Linked below is a short guide.
