The "zabriskie point" style is named after a place I've never been, but feel I know well. From years studying landscape photography I saw many shots of the desert dunes, often captured in pastel hues. The way that ripples undulate here reminds me dunes at sunset.

Most pieces in Calian grow smoothly: interfaces wax and wane, rippling like waves on water; these have 'classical' growth. Instead about 15% grow in a discretized, 'quantum' way, like accretion on a crystal. I find it endlessly satisfying to watch.
